ABOUT R.L.S.Y COLLEGE, BETTIAH
Ram Lakhan Singh Yadav College, Bettiah is one of the oldest and most prestigious institutions in Bihar, known for its rich heritage and academic excellence and was founded in 1975 nearest to the Bus Stand and Railway station Bettiah. It was established in the remote area of West Champaran where literacy is very poor in the comparison of other districts of Bihar.
This college is a constituent unit of B.R.A. Bihar University Muzaffarpur and NAAC accreditated Grade “B”. Our aim is to promote not only higher education but the intellectual disciplines and the search of personal value that enables its graduate throughout their lives.

There are ample opportunities for students to engage in extracurricular activities. From sports to cultural programs, the college promotes various events. It’s a great way to meet new people and develop new skills outside the classroom.

Most of the professors are very knowledgeable and supportive. They encourage students to ask questions and offer extra help when needed. However, sometimes the focus is more on theoretical knowledge than practical applications.

The academic experience at R.L.S.Y College, Bettiah is quite positive. The teachers are helpful and explain concepts clearly. I feel that the course curriculum is well-structured, but there is a need for more interactive and modern teaching methods, especially in terms of digital learning.
